Opening Monday: installations by Anila Agha

The Stewart Center Gallery doors open Monday morning on an intriguing display of installations called "Anila Quayyum Agha: A Flood of Tears."

Check out the Lafayette Journal and Courier article on the exhibit here.

The "Flood of Tears" installation is difficult to photograph and share on line - almost 900 metallic red threads suspended from the ceiling create a thin "rain" of color in the space. Be sure to see it in its subtle, evocative glory in person.
Hope to see you in the gallery!

Also: still on display in the Robert L. Ringel Gallery in Purdue Memorial Union, "Patrick Dougherty: Stickworks" a display of documentary photographs of the artist's work, in celebration of his recently created work on the Purdue campus.
